Alyssa Satin Capucilli is the author of over 100 children's books, including the popular Biscuit series. Her books have been translated into 20 languages and have sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
Capucilli is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked as an art director and a graphic designer. She began writing children's books in 1988.
Illustrator
Pat Schories is the illustrator of over 50 children's books, including the Biscuit series. She has also illustrated books by other authors, such as Jane Yolen, Marc Brown, and Eve Bunting.
Schories is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked as a commercial artist and a teacher. She began illustrating children's books in 1982.
