Statistics for Evidence-Based Practice and Evaluation (SW 318)
This course provides an overview of the fundamental concepts of statistics as they apply to evidence-based practice and evaluation in social work. Topics covered include:
- Descriptive statistics
- Inferential statistics
- The interpretation of research findings
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basic concepts of statistics
- Apply statistical methods to analyze data from social work research
- Interpret the results of statistical analyses
- Use statistical findings to inform evidence-based practice and evaluation

- The midterm and final exams are comprehensive and cannot be made up.
- Late assignments will not be accepted.
